EjectWater.com is an independent, free-to-use online tool that helps people remove water from their device speakers using sound wave technology. We are not affiliated with Apple Inc., Google LLC, or any device manufacturer.

When this Privacy Policy says “we,” “us,” or “our,” it refers to the operators of EjectWater.com. When it says “you” or “your,” it refers to anyone who visits or uses our website.

Our service is provided entirely through your web browser — no application is installed on your device, no account is created, and no personal profile is built about you.

Like virtually every website on the internet, our web server automatically records some basic technical information each time a page is requested. This is standard infrastructure behaviour, not targeted data collection.

Standard Server Log Data

This includes:

• Your IP address (used temporarily to route the response to your browser)
• The date and time of your visit

We want to be fully transparent about what happens when you press the Eject button, because we know some people may wonder whether the tool is “listening” through their microphone or accessing their device in some other way.

It doesn’t. Here is exactly what happens:

1. Your browser loads our page, including a small block of JavaScript
2. When you press Eject, that JavaScript uses the browser’s built-in Web Audio API to generate a pure sine wave tone at the selected frequency (e.g. 165 Hz)
3. That audio tone is routed to your device’s default audio output — your speaker — through the browser
4. The tone plays for 30 seconds and then stops
5. Nothing is recorded, uploaded, or sent to any server during or after this process

We keep things minimal here too.

Cookies We Set

EjectWater.com itself does not set any first-party tracking cookies. We do not store anything in your browser’s localStorage or sessionStorage to track your behaviour or identity.

Third-Party Cookies

If you arrive at EjectWater.com from a search engine or another website, that referring source may have set its own cookies on your browser — but that is outside of our control and unrelated to our website’s operation.

Google Fonts

Our website loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these fonts, Google’s servers receive your IP address and browser information as part of the standard HTTP request. Google has its own privacy policy governing this data. You can read it at policies.google.com/privacy. We use Google Fonts for typographic consistency — no ad targeting or profiling is enabled through this integration.

We do not share your data with third parties for advertising, marketing, or profiling purposes. We never have, and we have no intention of doing so.

Hosting & Infrastructure

EjectWater.com is hosted on a web server. That hosting provider may process server log data (IP addresses, request timestamps) as part of providing infrastructure services. They act as a data processor on our behalf and are contractually bound to handle data securely and not use it for their own purposes.

Content Delivery

We may use a content delivery network (CDN) to serve website assets quickly around the world. CDN providers receive technical request data (IP address, requested file path) in order to route requests efficiently. This data is transient and not retained for profiling.

Analytics Tools (if applicable)

If we use an analytics service, we select providers that are designed with privacy in mind — meaning they anonymise IP addresses, do not use cross-site tracking, and comply with applicable data protection laws. We will update this policy if the specific provider changes.

We Will Never

EjectWater.com is a general-purpose utility tool with no age-restricted content. However, we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in countries where that is the applicable threshold under GDPR).

Since our tool does not require any registration or data submission to function, children can safely use it without submitting any personal information whatsoever.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has somehow provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

We take reasonable precautions to protect whatever limited data passes through our infrastructure. This includes:

• Serving all pages over HTTPS (TLS encryption in transit)
• Keeping our server software and dependencies updated

• Not storing sensitive personal information in databases at all

That said, no system connected to the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We commit to notifying affected users and relevant authorities promptly in the unlikely event of a data breach — though given the minimal data we hold, the impact of such an event would be extremely limited.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if we add a new feature, change our hosting provider, or if legal requirements evolve. When we make changes, we’ll update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

We won’t make changes that meaningfully reduce your privacy protections without making that obvious. Any significant change will be noted clearly near the top of the document.
